Nancy holds more than 10 years of project management and production experience across independent, commercial and community dance. Driven by an interest in the ethics of production, Nancy occupies a hybrid practice (producer-facilitator- advocate) that is concerned with the relational potentials of dancing to problematise and undo fixed versions of ourselves. Nancy’s portfolio to date incorporates dance, live art and work in mental health and social health care settings. Nancy is currently programme producer at Siobhan Davies Dance, Executive Producer for Yewande 103 and works on a breadth of freelance dance projects.
Lucia is a London based producer of dance and live arts events, with interests in visual arts and audience development. Lucia recently lead production on The Freestylers (formerly Deptford Freestylers) CONTINUOUS x Unlimited commission, Everybody with me, always 2021-2022 tour to Tramway, Glasgow and BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Arts, Gateshead, as well as assisting producing on Satelliser: a dance for the gallery by Janine Harrington and co-workers and LET THE BODY by Fernanda Munoz-Newsome. Lucia is a Producer on Ray Young’s upcoming and most ambitious work, BODIES, set to premiere in September 2022.
Mable is a hair colourist at Open Barbers, a queer hairdressers in Hackney. She has a Fine Art background but really prefers crafting and wearing silly clothes. As one of Ray’s Access Assistants, I help Ray manage their workload and hope to allow them to realise their ideas with as little stress as possible.
Princess Bestman is a freelance multidisciplinary creative, facilitator and access support assistant. Their practice is formed from the perspective of a queer, Black, social care experienced individual. They collaborate with artists internationally, using a variety of theatrical and media forms to create platforms for underrepresented individuals.
